ACT 1

01. INTRODUCING BLADE (SCENE) 
Blade’s mother was bitten by a vampire just as he was to be delivered. Now, Blade is an anomaly, a half vampire, half human who has all the strengths of the undead, but is not affected by the sun.

02. DAYWALKER
Blade interrupts a crowd of vampires at an underground dance party. The crowd is silent as they know he is there to shut it down. Feeling left out, Blade questions his place in the world.

03. IF SHE WAS THERE
Blade recalls the circumstances of his birth. He wonders what his life could have been if his mother had been there to guide him.

04. FROST ENTERS (SCENE)
Frost, a human turned vampire, awaits a conversation with the Vampire Council over his unsanctioned dance parties.

05. THEY TELL ME I’M DREAMING
Frost expresses his frustration over the Vampire Council’s archaic beliefs and refusal to give his dreams a chance. Frost promises to change things for the common vampire for the better.

06. FROST SUCKS (SCENE)
The council decides to take action against Frost. They ban human vampire fraternizing and tell humans to fear him. 

07. DINNER AT THE LONGTOOTHS (SCENE)
A young vampire family is saved by going hungry by the blood of a neighbor. On the hunt, Blade watches from the window.

08. DIFFERENT
Blade realizes that he’s always been different, but that what he saw has also changed him. 

09. MEETING WHISTLER (SCENE)
Blade also expresses his own dream of a shared future for vampires and humans alike to his mentor, Jamal Whistler. But the man who raised Blade is set in his ways and can’t imagine that vampires and humans could ever get along.

10. THE DOCTOR’S IN
Whistler and Blade listen to the police scanner. When they hear news of a vampire attack, Blade leaps to action. He eliminates the vampire threat and saves a young Doctor Jensen. 

Joining Whistler and Blade at the hideout, Doctor Jensen, works on a new serum that may help Blade avoid his thirst for human blood.

11. WHY ME?
Blade expounds on his questions of the status quo. He asks if the violent reproach of vampires that Whistler taught him is justified. He wonders why he was selected by fate to have his unique strengths and carry out destruction.

12. THE GRAND PLANALE (SCENE)
Frost explains his grand plan to raise a vampire blood god known as La Magra, but the ancient ritual requires Blade’s blood to do it. Fortunately, his intern has discovered a way to lure Blade into a trap – his mother. 

13. THE TRAP IS SET
Frost starts the ritual process to raise the blood god, while awaiting Blade’s inevitable attempt to rescue his mother. 

14. STRONG ENOUGH
Whistler gets a Facetooth message that Blade’s mom is alive. He knows it’s a trap so he debates whether to tell Blade with Doctor Jensen. When Blade finds out, he blindly runs to her rescue.

15. HERE FOR MOTHER (SCENE)
Blade smashes through a window into Frost’s office demanding his mother. Blade expresses respect for Frost’s commitment to his plan but promises to end it. 

16. INEVITABLE
Blade and Frost trade compliments, but Frost insists that his plan’s culmination is inevitable. As Blade is distracted by his mother, Frost’s vampire goons capture him.

17. JENSEN AND WHISTLER PREP (SCENE)
Jensen and Whistler discuss saving Blade. 

18. WE SHOW UP
When Jensen and Whistler arrive, they find Blade nearly unconscious. Jensen administers her serum and frees him just as they are ambushed by a crew of vampire goons. When the dust settles, Whistler is fatally injured.

ACT 2

19. OH BROTHER
Blade is angry at Whistler for coming to save him and ignoring his pleas for a more peaceful approach. He reminisces on moments with Whistler, conflicted between his love for his mentor and his desire for a new future.

20. THE GIFT (SCENE)
The vampire family matriarch sees her daughter playing with a dolly. It has a note that seems to be signed by Blade.

21. FROST TRIES HE REALLY TRIES (SCENE)
Frost discusses letting Blade escape with his vampire goons. An intern offers up a business exercise to explore their failure more productively. Frost tentatively agrees to try the new approach. 

22. TEAM INCOMPETENT
Frost explains all the ways his goons failed him, but in the end, he accepts responsibility as a team.

23. RETROSPECTIVE PT II (SCENE)
Frost’s intern reveals that she secured a tube of Blade’s blood during the battle. Frost is annoyed and reasserts his authority.

24. OPEN UP (SCENE)
The Longtooth daughters’ piano lesson with their human neighbor, Isabel, is interrupted by a Council goons breaking down the door. 

25. BLADE HEARS THE MUSIC (SCENE)
Jensen tells Blade that he must fight to save the human race. Jensen shows Blade how to be a bit more creative.

26. I DON’T NEED YOU
When Frost realizes that he already has Blade’s Blood, he celebrates that he no longer needs him and will triumph over the Vampire Council. He’s a bit heartbroken that Blade won’t be there for the ritual, but the time is nigh.

27. CONFRONTING DEACON (SCENE)
Blade confronts Frost as he’s starting the blood ritual. He explains that there is another way to take over society – and not just vampires, but humans too.

28. A MOMENT
Frost and Blade realize that they are not so different from each other. Both share a desire for a new vision of the future. They agree to partner and lead the next generation.

29. TRIAL OF THE LONGTOOTHS (SCENE)
The Longtooth family trial is interrupted by Blade and Frost. They rally the crowd to overthrow the head of the council.

30. YOU THE PEOPLE
Blade and Frost pitch a unified vampire and human community to elect them and of course require undying loyalty, despite being the only two options for the job.

31. EARLY RETIREMENT (SCENE)
After campaigning directly to the people, Blade and Frost broker vampire-human peace. The council is forced into early retirement.

32. DESTINED
Blade and Frost celebrate the win despite having every advantage in deciding to pursue power from the people.

33. A YEAR LATER (SCENE)
It’s a year later. Blade and Frost have achieved their goals, but they are getting a bit tired of the people’s day-to-day complaints.

34. DAYWALKER REPRISE
Blade laments that vampires and humans are starting to complain. He questions the unreasonable demands of leaders, while recalling a time when he used violence to solve problems.
